Blue Heron Logistics is currently owned and managed by Kim and Flint Burley. The company started flying in 2012 with a vision to fill the much needed gap in the freight industry offering specialized solutions for the handling and movement of unique items. This vision turned into a reliable team of experts not only continuing to move high valued items and also, providing the best options for 3PL warehousing, NYS freight and managing client needs.

Company History
In 2012 Georg and Kim started Blue Heron Logistics moving specialized freight across the nation. As with any business that is started with a dream, one truck and one trailer the vision had to be adjusted based on the needs of the customer. While Georg was moving the freight, Kim was keeping the dream going by working behind the scenes. By 2018 they had built a business of four trucks, numerous specialized trailers, and close friends that would help as needed to ensure the specialized freight was safely delivered and the customers’ needs were met.
Sadly, in December 2018 Georg passed away and a huge part of Blue Heron was no longer helping keep the dream alive. With hard work and perseverance, Kim came out from behind the scenes and became the face of the company. This leap of faith pushed the dream further when Kim added Flint Burley as a business partner. Along with a team of dedicated employees, great customers, and amazing friends Blue Heron is flying higher and higher every day.
